[ with no current monsters to hunt or visible bullies to bust, caelus is aimlessly wandering the barn, checking out all the empty horse stalls. he's switched to his regular clothing and carries a specific weapon. ]

[ kate is also in her regular clothes! no more hiding her non-face... unless enough people scream at the sight of her, then we'll see. for now, she does seem to be carrying herself with more confidence than the previous day. ]

I see you've upgraded to a sturdier stick.

[ such a cute dress, a great improvement from the featureless robe. ]

It's a gift I've used a lot.

anyway. wanna hang out at the farm area? caelus is checking out all the season-nondependent vegetables at the moment. food with color and the potential of flavor is fairly exciting. ]

Week 1, Sunday

[ somewhere outdoors after the execution ritual, just reflecting on what they just watched. ]

She was able to hold on to some part of herself...

[ ugly, ugly execution. once again, zero winners even after their opponent is no longer moving. ]

w2 monday;

[ at the gas station, filling his arms with snacks. if there's a banana peel on his arm from previously rooting around in the trash, no there isn't. don't worry about it.

a bright smile when he sees kate enter the area. ]

and back in scawwy, arms full of junkfood, caelus comes to, leaning into the nearest shelving unit. ]

she watches in silence, and seems to flinch when it looks like things are going out of control. but then it ends. ]

week 3, monday

[ caelus sees kate while wandering through the streets of this new city, roth. it's not like anywhere he's traveled before and the thick energy in the area leaves him as energized as somewhat paranoid. whose skin will be lost next?

but also maybe caelus can protect them this time. he will. he is alpha. ]

[ kate leans over a partly-crumbled wall of the ruins to peer out at the distance. ]

I've never actually seen a city before.

[ somehow, let's say it got back to him that she was unfortunate enough to stumble upon a body with her invest. so, caelus hunted her down, guessing... well, knowing... that can't have been a good time. ]

after trial, kate will go change into some clean soot-free clothes and will show up at the pyre. she walks right up to the fog barrier. ]

Week 6, Monday

[ kate can be found looking around the mall in the graveyard! still taking in the new sights. but when she sees caelus, she will come over to greet him. ]

[ caelus was already on miss kate hunt. yesterday must have been so much for her and he didn't want to crowd. today, perhaps, less intense. a better chance to catch up. ]

It can be an overload the first few days.

Week 7, Tuesday

[ hanging around the morning after our town hall. ]

... It's not easy to find a way to make everyone happy, is it?

It's hard when there are conflicting things everyone wants. Some people would prefer to never get their abilities back, and I understand if they're painful or don't give them any advantage. But others really need them.

[ caelus' emotions waver. he can't be sure what category he falls into. ]

I'm a better fighter unlocked, but it also ups the danger if something happens to me when the Stellaron is active. It's something we all have to think about.
