I still feel as if I should be stronger. I can't accept that I can be manipulated so easily, especially when it means my actions hurt others, whether that means killing them or making them see something that makes them angry.

[ takes a moment to be impressed by cae's little monologue

no he's listening intently, soaking in every word. by the time caelus is done, he's bowed his head, eyes closed, to take a deep breath. in and out, steadying, just like he had after the first trial last week. it helps a little, but not as much as what cae is saying.

the problem is he feels like he's terrible with putting feeling into words and doesn't know how to respond at first, so it takes a bit, but he'll finally look back at him. still feeling that remorse for all that happened, too, even if he didn't choose it, but his heart also feels a little warmer than before. ]

I would like all of those things, too. [ iwa still doesn't quite know what a date is in this context, but that's fine. he can learn. ] I'd like you to meet my master and Imanotsurugi, and everyone else, too. Maybe it won't be as impressive as your Astral Express, but even so.

I really do treasure every moment we have together, Caelus. [ moreso knowing that this is their last week here, and who knows what will happen after they leave. if they can leave at all. ] I might be a little angry with whoever used that curse, too, for taking that time from us.
