Well, for starters, I don't know dick about magic and sorcery, so how the fog keeps turning us around is a complete mystery to me. As is the abduction itself. The pentagrams and Halloween decor lean us heavily to the occult. Which could be exactly as it is on the tin, or maybe obscuring some other deeper, darker force behind all of this.

My favourite theory is that I'm in a hospital bed with a bandage on my cranium and a nice lawsuit payout waiting for me, courtesy of whatever asshole was driving the bus that hit me.

But that would be too good to be true, wouldn't it?

[ it's hard for caelus to put himself in camille's shoes. while he also knows 'dick' about magic and sorcery in its purest sense, space fantasy bullshit isn't dissimilar and being a worldhopper has given him substantial frames of reference.
